Computer Information Systems The Computer Information Systems programs are designed to develop graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to qualify as junior programmers, as data entry personnel, as microcomputer-application users or modelers, or as computer operators. The curricula are designed to acquaint the student with the uses of computers by placing specified emphasis on business programming, business data entry, business application packages or business computer operation. Students develop confidence in their ability through hands-on laboratory sessions using the latest computer equipment. Students may elect any of the following majors: Computer Programming, Computer Data Entry, Computer Operations Microcomputer Application, or Computer Telecommunications and Networking. |
