Project ARRIBA's enrollment process is a hands-on approach that promotes a working partnership with applicants through all testing, assessments and evaluations. On average, the ratio of applications to program sponsorship is 7 to 1. During our 6-step enrollment process, applicants understand that long-term training will be difficult and that a clear and strategic plan needs to be evaluated and followed. That plan includes family support, valuation of financial needs, assessment of humanistic barriers and thorough understanding of their particular career choice. All applicants are brought to the final stage of the enrollment process called the Participant Evaluation Team (PET) Meeting. An interviewing committee represented by the Directors of Project ARRIBA, talk to the applicant similar to a job interview. Questions are asked to the applicant concerning each individual's life barriers, and answers are listened to carefully. The interviewing committee is responsible for making a clear and compassionate recommendation for or against sponsorship with a final decision from the Chief Executive or Operations Officer.

If the applicant is unanimously approved for investment, they become a Sponsored Project ARRIBA Participant and will commence their academic requirements during the next academic semester. They will also start attending weekly group meetings called Vision, Initiative and Perseverance (VIP) meetings. VIP's are separated by career field and have a distinct Case Manager assigned to them. During the VIP's , Case Managers will provide the essential "life skills" needed for today's job market to include: proper resume writing, appropriate interviewing skills, critical thinking workshops, professionalism, dressing for success and others. These meetings will continue throughout the duration of program sponsorship.
